The wait might end soon. A rematch between WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and Britain’s Tyson Fury is richly anticipated after a controversial draw last December.
Negotiations are advancing between the two sides and could reach a conclusion soon. “We’re negotiating and I hope by the end of this week we’ll be in a position to announce something one way or another, fingers crossed,” he told Boxing News.
