Kyrone DavisMiddleweight prospect Kyrone Davis (8-0, 4KOs) is a fighter to watch. He has been a guest on Thaboxingvoice’s radio show, and we’ve published many articles on Thaboxingvoice.com keeping our listeners and readers familiar with the standout from Delaware.

Davis is currently being trained by Stephen “Bread Man” Edwards – who trains the fast-rising Philadelphia contender Julian “J-Rock” Williams as well – and the two are working right now in the gym even though Davis doesn’t have anything on the docket.

Kyrone, who goes by the nickname “Shut It Down,” is a hard worker. In fact, he never took a break after his last fight camp and went right back to work following his 1st round KO win over Jose Alberto Leal in June of this year.

Now, he will stay ready for the remainder of the year and follow through with the plan.

“Rest of the year I’ll have two more fights, be 10-0 by the end of the year. I should be on TV by early next year. I’m just learning as I’m going and enjoying my time as a professional athlete. It’s really fun. I love every part of it,” Davis told Thaboxingvoice.com.

Without knowing who or when he’ll fight next, Kyrone just stays ready and keeps his body in shape. He is a physically big athlete, and at 25yrs old he will surely get bigger. For now, he enjoys making weight relatively easy and sees no reason to concern himself with moving up from middleweight. By his account, the most he every balloons up is 15lbs over his fighting weight, which isn’t very much, and certainly not an issue at his age.

Kyrone is ready to go again and close out a strong 2015 campaign. Lucky for him, he won’t have to wait too long as management prepares for him to get back into the ring very soon.

“Looks like September, the end of September [I’ll be back in the ring]. I’m staying in shape. Whenever they tell me to go, I’m ready to go.”
