Alex SaucedoTwo up and coming rising stars and outstanding prospects will battle in an intriguing match that promises a lot of action, when unbeaten Mexican prospect Alex ‘El Cholo’ Saucedo and the rugged American fighter Clarence ‘The Truth’ Booth clash in the February 13 event that will take place at the Sportsman’s Lodge in Studio City.

Saucedo, a powerful Aztec puncher who has amassed an impeccable record of: 20-0 and 14 knockouts, will face the always-tough and well-trained Booth, who possesses a record of: 13-1 and 7 knockouts, in an eight round welterweight scrap in the main event of the ‘Solo Boxeo Tecate’ card that will be televised at 11pm ET/PT on UniMás.

“I feel very grateful with Top Rank for this big opportunity. I feel blessed. I know that this is a big opportunity for me, and this could lead to getting bigger fights, but first I have to win this fight. I am more than ready. I know that I will fight in the main event, and I feel very happy and motivated,” said Saucedo.

“I expect a great fight. I’m coming well prepared. We know that Booth is a tough fighter that likes to apply pressure. I also like to go forward, but I know that for this fight I have to use all my tools,” expressed the young fighter that was born in Meoqui, Chihuahua, México, and now resides in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

On the other hand, Booth also guarantees he will come out victorious.

“I’m going to make a statement. I’m ready for whatever he brings to the ring that night. No matter what it takes, I will get the W,” assured Booth. “I know he is a good fighter, but I’m on a mission. I have kids,” declared the fighter from Saint Petersburg, Florida.

“There will be a lot of action in this fight. I’m coming to wreck his ship,” affirmed the fighter that is riding an eleven-bout winning streak. “If his fans think that this will be an easy win for him, they will be very upset. I’m coming to take away all that he has. I’m going to take it all away,” finalized saying Booth.

In the co-main event of the card, undefeated prospect Andy ‘El Tiburón’ Vences (14-0, 10 KO’s), from San José, California, will face Mexico’s Yardley Suarez (14-1, 8 KO’s) in an eight-round bout in the super featherweight division.

These undefeated prospects will also see action in the card: welterweight Egidijus ‘The Mean Machine’ Kavaliuskas (11-0, 10 KO’s), light heavyweight Oleksandr ‘The Nail’ Gvozdyk (8-0, 6 KO’s), featherweight Toka Khan Clary (17-0, 11 KO’s), among others.
