It has been over a year since Adam Braidwood has begun calling for a fight for either of the Canadian heavyweight championship belts against either Simon Kean and Dylan Carman and he has yet to get that opportunity. Carman only fought once in 2017 and he lost his title to Mladen Miljas via second-round TKO. Kean fought five times last year with only two opponents having somewhat decent records. Four out of those five victories came by way of stoppage but Kean came close to being stopped himself when he got knocked down by 39-year-old Randy Johnson out of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Kean is currently scheduled to fight in February against Solomon Haumono of Australia. On paper, Solomon looks like a good opponent even though his last two fights he had lost. Those losses came against the likes of Tomasz Adamek and current WBO heavyweight champion of the world Joseph Parker.

Braidwood last fought on December 8th in Edmonton, Alberta against Misael Sanchez who on BoxRec is currently ranked as Mexico’s number five heavyweight and beat him down for an impressive second-round stoppage. After the fight, Braidwood continues to campaign for a shot at Kean with numerous posts on social media directed at Kean. There currently appears to be no responses from Kean towards Braidwood.  This has not stopped the former CFL player from chastising the Canadian champion and calling him a bitch in the process.

“This is a public service announcement. Hi Simon Kean l I’m here to remind you that I am the Boogeyman and you’re a little bitch!”

Tha boxing voice tried to reach out to Kean to get his view on a potential fight with Braidwood but has been unable to get a response yet.
