Lightweight Adan Mares, who thrilled fans at the StubHub Center recently in a six-round draw with Jesus Aguinaga, takes a moment to chat with Tha Boxing Voice about his career and his brother, featherweight Abner Mares.
“I know I’m not the most talented fighter. I got the big heart and I got the big (*grunts and rolls eyes*), you know what I’m saying,” Mares said. When asked about plans for his next fight he added, “I just got the stitches taken off so I’m hoping to be back in the ring by July.”
