Andre Berto Spike Tv Fresh off his TKO victory, Andre Berto was back in the gym? Why? Berto says it’s time to get focused.

“Back to work we go,” Andre Berto told ESNews.com. “I just eat a lot of bullshit but I’m back at it. I ain’t playing around anymore. I’m focused.”

While Berto is off without nothing scheduled at the moment, he is a fan of boxing. When a possible Adrien Broner-Amir Khan fight was brought up, Berto says he loves the fight but doesn’t think it happens.

“That’s a really good fight,” Berto said. “I think it could be a fight that would be really surprising for people to see. But I don’t think it’s happening next. It’s all talk.”

Two weeks from this Saturday will be a showdown between Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson. It’s a fight where Garcia is heavily favored, but Berto feels Peterson is a live dog in the fight.

“I have known Lamont Peterson for a long time, and I think Danny Garcia is the perfect fighter for him,” stated Berto. “I think it’s going to be a good fight. Everybody thinks that’s Danny’s going to wipe him out easy. But styles make fights, I lost to Ortiz, but I whooped Josesito and Josesito beat Victor.”

A fight everyone is anticipating is the showdown between Ruslan Provodnikov and Lucas Matthysse. Everyone is predicting a fight of the year no matter who you ask. Berto feels the same and says he thinks that no matter what happens, someone is going to end up in the hospital.

“That’s going to be awesome,” stated Berto. “Someone’s definitely going to the hospital. I think Matthysse wins. I think Matthysse has a little bit more to him. I think he can box a little bit, but somebody’s definitely going to the hospital. I don’t want anybody crazy like that.”
