Arash Usmanne has announced on his Facebook page that he will be fighting soon for a world title. The IBF world title to be exact. “So I’ve signed for the IBF WORLD TITLE already! Its set and done,” said Usmanne. The bout is scheduled to take place on August 23rd against Argenis Mendez in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mendez last fought on March 9th where he avenged a controversial loss to Juan Carlos Salgado of Mexico.
Usmanne was originally scheduled to take part of a fight in June on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights but the bout was canceled when his opponent unexpectedly decided to pull out.
