bob-arum-boxing-promoterjpg-ff7506fe1252e584While the date and the two super fights between Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto-Canelo Alvarez are still being negotiated, Bob Arum, the promoter of Pacquiao delivered some news to the media that there is movement with the Mayweather talks.

“The talks are slow but at least there is movement,” Arum told Philboxing.com.

When asked as to why the movement in the talks were slow Arum replied, “It’s always about money.”

Seemingly there have been multiple road blocks in having the richest fight in boxing signed, sealed, and delivered. However Arum is optimistic but not too optimistic.

“Until a deal is made and contracts signed, we’ll never know,” Arum said regarding if he feels the fight will actually happen.

In the report, Pacquiao’s advisor told The Manila Standard that there is nothing new to report. So while the world awaits like it did for several years, the negotiations or non-negotiations continue. Stay tuned.
