Battle of The Bay April 5th

On Monday via social media, OPP Presents Boxing announced its first event of 2014, “Battle on the Bay”. The aforementioned event will take place at The Sports House in Redwood City, CA with the weigh in location to be announced at a later date.

The card will feature three of Northern California’s most notable knockout artists with the return of San Bruno’s Joe “The Punisher” Gumina (5-1 3KOS) headlining the show. Gumina, who will has been out of the ring for 13 months since his last fight, a first round knockout of Lee Holloman will be looking to make a statmeent.

Rising star from Hayward, CA Aaron “Heavy Metal” Coley (8-0 5KOs) will fight for the first time in his Bay Area and about 20 minutes away from his hometown. Coley, an impressive power puncher is looking to continue his trek up the middleweight division as the heavily avoided prospect continues to make noise and is steadily becoming one of the most popular Bay Area boxers bar none.

Heavyweight LaRon Mitchell (3-0 3KOs) of San Francisco, CA fighting out of the Ring of Fire boxing gym is hoping to continue his knockout streak to four in a row to start his career. Mitchell, a man who spends little time expressing formalities in the ring has knocked out his previous foes in the first round of the fights and has assured us to not blink for this fight.
