The 10th anniversary of Thaboxingvoice’s acclaimed Border Wars series is scheduled to take place in Florida. The working dates for the Border Wars X event are the 13th and the 27th of March. While several venues are being considered and the date gets narrowed down, TBV can officially announce the main event and co-main event for the card.

In the featured bout on what is shaping out to be a stacked card, Border Wars’ fans will get to see the quick turnaround of Marvin “The Tank” Ferman of Dallas, Texas as he defends his title against Keem “The Dream” with a 176lbd limit for the fight (the minimum for cruiserweight).

This title defense comes on the heels of Marvin’s recent title defense against Rell at Border Wars 9: Dallas, a fight that ended in a draw. The champion came into the fight in the best shape of his career, and as he continues to work his way down in weight, he has decided to challenge himself further by agreeing to the catchweight.

Keem is coming off his debut victory at Border Wars 8: Pittsburgh where he earned a unanimous decision over “Money May” Mungia. In the fight, Keem managed to score 3 knockdowns en route to victory.

Rumors of Keem signing to a new promotional outfit have picked up steam and we could see the fighter under a new banner by the time March nears.

In the evening’s co-feature, we will see another return of sorts as Jose “El Loco” Saenz, coming off a lengthy lay-off, has agreed to fight “Iron” Sal Martinez. The bout will be contested at heavyweight.

Jose is one of the biggest draws in Border Wars and a veteran of the series as well. However, he is facing off against a fighter with his own veteran roots as Sal has been a fixture of Border Wars and has one of the most exciting fights of all time in the books.

Border Wars X is expected to be a stacked card as the anniversary makes it the perfect opportunity to really deliver. TBV will be announcing more fights as they become offical.
