For Brian Vera one thing comes to mind when it comes to his rematch with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., redemption.
Most boxing fans and those at ringside for their first fight felt Vera won but the decision didn’t go that way and it’s gotten to him.
“The first fight, being robbed like that like everybody knows (I won),” said Vera.
For the rematch Vera has dedicated himself to training so much that he has developed newer abilities in the ring which he plans on using against Chavez.
“I’ve got abilities that I’ve never used before because this has been the longest training I’ve had and have dedicated myself to the sport and I just want to show the world what I’ve been doing.”
