On February 5th, 2021 Britain Hart had the biggest fight of her career. It was the highly anticipated bare-knuckle debut of Paige VanZant who had been released from the UFC the year before.
Hart played spoiler in that fight and won a decision over VanZant in an entertaining scrap but her post-fight interview far outshone her performance.
“I’m not a person. I’m not. I’m a fucking feeling.”
So what did Hart mean by that?
“I’ve explained it to people before, and it’s really the only right way to explain who I am as a fighter and as a person,” Hart told What the Heck. “I’m a fighter, but I’m a mom, I’m a friend. I’m all these things, but the best thing to say is ‘I’m a fucking feeling.’”
Her performance and her interview definitely got her a lot of attention and on July 23rd she will get another opportunity on BKFC 19 as she will face off against Jenny Clausius. Clausius last competed for bareknuckle in December of 2020 and won via stoppage. This is guaranteed to be an entertaining fight so don’t forget to tune in.
