Kell Brook has his eyes set on returning to the ring in February 2015. Brook who was stabbed in the leg out on holiday last month is still recovering from his attack.
Brook told ESPN’s Steve Bunce, “Everything is moving in the right way. I’ve just started back in the gym and I’m undergoing treatment every other day. The doctors told me that once I get back from rehab I’d be brand new, as good as ever.”
“I’m thinking we will be ready to go for late February next year where we jump back in the ring and defend my world title.”
There has been a demand by the public for Brook to defend his title against Amir Khan in the U.K. It is unclear if that bout will come to fruition at this particular time, but coming off a big win against the former undefeated IBF titleholder Shawn Porter, plenty of boxing fans will surely tune in to see Brook defend his title against any top contender.
