When preparing for a fight you must prepare for everything that your opponent can hit you with but nothing hurts more than an opponent pulling out of one of the biggest fights in your career which is something “Irish” Cam O’Connell faced just a day before he was supposed to fight Jamie Osegueda for the NABF Jr. title.
O’Connell issued a statement via social media apologizing to those that made the trip to see him but assured that the card will remain great and that Arash Usmanee will put on a show.
“Sorry to all my fans, friends and family,” said O’Connell. “Unfortunately my opponent has pulled out of the fight last minute and no replacement has been found. I apologize if your plans are now messed up for the weekend but the card will still be a good one. Big Bro Arash Usmanee is looking mean in our camp and is gonna put on a great fight if you still come out to support him.”
