For those who don’t already know, Hammering Hank Lundy is damn good fighter. With a record of 24-3-1 Hammering Hank has been making a lot of noise as of late. After putting in fantastic performances against the very tough Nigerian Ajose Olusegun on short notice, and the highly touted Angelo Santana, he now has his sights set on winning his first world title.
Currently training with former 3 division world champion Adrien Broner for an upcoming fight May 31st, you can see in the interview that Lundy is full of confidence heading into it. Although his career has been a bit tumultuous at times, what I like about Lundy is, he’s always in an exciting fight. Even in the few fights that he ultimately came up short in, he still made those fights very exciting..
In my opinion, Lundy is on pace to be a major player in either of the 135-140lb divisions. With wins over the likes of current WBA lightweight champion Richard Abril, and actually retiring former champion David Diaz, coupled with his talent, ring IQ, association wit J. Prince and current winning streak…. Hammering Hank is on pace to make a lot of noise this year.
