Canadian welterweight champion Steve “The Dragon” Claggett (17-2-1, 12 KO’s) made weight for his bout on November 9th against former European champion Giuseppe Lauri (53-15, 31 KO’s).
Claggett weighed in under the limit at 146.8 pounds whereas Lauri weighed in at 147.2 pounds.
The two fighters headline a card titled Teofista Boxing Series 11 at the Cowboys Casino in downtown Calgary. The event will feature both professional and amateur boxing.
