Mexican promoter Pepe Gomez of Cancun Boxing is currently in the process of making a fight between two future hall of famers and former world champions Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico and Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico.
The chances of that fight happening are slim since Cotto is fighting at 154 pounds and Marquez fights at 147. At this stage in Marquez career a move up to 154 would not be a wise one especially since he is small for even 147. There is a slim chance that the fight can happen though because Gomez has a very good relationship with Cotto and in boxing anything can happen.
