ChocorroncitoBuitrago300NFUndefeated Nicaraguan fighter Carlos “Chocorroncito” Buitrago (27-0, 16 KO’s) will leave Monday (September 22nd) to go to Bangkok, Thailand for his October 1st fight against Knockout CP Freshmart (not his birth name, what BoxRec has him listed as)  for the WBA interim minimumweight title.
Buitrago has pushed himself more than he has before and is more determined than he was when he fought Merlito Sabillo to come back home to Nicaragua with the title.
“I have had a strong training camp which involved running on the beach to strengthen my legs so that I can be prepared to fight twelve rounds and push myself to win the fight,” said Buitrago. “I am very determined to not walk away without the title. I failed once when I went to the Philippines and had almost knocked out Merlito Sabillo and in the end it was a draw. This time if I am able to I will spare no efforts to finish my opponent.”
