One of boxing’s biggest fights for 2015 seems to be getting closer and closer as Miguel Cotto and Saul Alvarez continue pushing for a bout with each other, but the chances of it happening in the first half of the year seem to be slim.
Alvarez has pushed to get the possible showdown for early May but Cotto’s team has discussed a possible June bout, but where does Cotto stand?
Cotto recently took to instagram and posted a fight poster for September with several hashtags and bringing up the Puerto Rican day parade. The poster also shows the fight taking place at Madison Square Garden.
