Cris Cyborg has been one of the most dominant women, and not just in MMA, but in all of combat sports. Her career in MMA started with a loss in 2005 and she continues fighting “TO THIS DAY!” In that 16 year span, Cyborg has only lost twice.

Her most recent fight happened on May 21st when she won via TKO with nine seconds left in the fight in a rematch against Leslie Smith.

On the broadcast, Mauro Ranallo commented on the options for Cyborg in MMA and asked if Jake Paul had a sister. Head of Sports at Showtime Stephen Espinoza quoted Ranallo on Twitter and immediately got an answer from Cyborg.

“I’m ready for Showtime Boxing,” stated Cyborg.

A move to boxing would add to an already amazing legacy if she does well. Her striking in MMA is great and she does not throw wide punches as often as you usually see in the MMA world. If she could make a serious run in boxing then the likes of Jessica McCaskill, Cecilia Braekhus, and Claressa Shields would make for big fights.

Cyborg has held titles in four different fighting organizations so if she could add one or more boxing titles to her collection it would say a lot for women who fight regardless of organization or sport.
