Danny Jacobs Says He’s Ready For The Top 10 Middleweights

    In this interview with Tha boxing Voice, Danny Jacobs touches on a few subjects, explaining how special the atmosphere at the Mayweather vs. Canelo weigh in was.  Giving his thoughts on the Danny Garcia vs. Lucas Matthysse, before the fight and also picking a winner.  He also touched and confirmed the rumblings of a potential match up with Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin.

    They opened up with a question about how it felt to be introduced to a crowd of 12,000 people, without even fighting.  He responds  “Wow!…..wow…..it feels amazing, Golden Boy is doing such a tremendous jobs, Mayweather Promotions, on making this fight suck a huge event, it’s not only good for them, but it good for boxing.”  

     He was asked him about the fights, and the co main event and he explained, “A lot of people don’t know that Danny Garcia can get on his toes and box,” and “I look forward to Danny Garcia to put on a victorious performance”  

    When pressed about the much talked about potential fight between him and Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin. He basically acknowledged that it has been mentioned and went on to say, “Well we will see what happens, it’s definitely a topic, but we have not really thought about it too much, because we are taking it one step at a time.”

     

    He also chimed in on not being able to fight the HBO guys in his weight class.  “Not worried too much about the business part, my job is to stay in the ring, stay in the gym and do my best.”
