Erislandy Lara To Eventually Get Canelo Fight, Will Continue Getting Big Fights

With Erislandy Lara missing out against a huge fight against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez he is missing out on a big payday but he is not missing out on a chance to showcase his skills. According to Sam Watson Lara will get a fight against Canelo but until then he will get big fights and that he is one of the key guys that they have and they will continue pitting their guys against each other.

“He will get it,” said Watson. “Lara will get his next big fight. He did a great job beating Trout. Trout will get a big fight too because Trout is our guy. They went head up, toe to toe. Real good fight. Great fight really. Lara is one of our key guys now. We got so many key guys though but we are gonna let him fight this year. He will be fighting everybody . Everybody will be fighting. We told them ’till we get the records right now they will be fighting each other and that’s the bottom line.”
