Floyd Mayweather has been making headline for two reasons as of late, a bet and his next opponent.

Mayweather has been rumored to have bet a total of ten million dollars on the Denver Broncos to win the Super Bowl. If you are a football fan or do not live under a rock and it is Monday morning you know that the Broncos lost the Super Bowl to the Seattle Seahawks. Had Mayweather of bet that amount on the Broncos he would be out of that money but according to Mayweather the bet itself was just a rumor and he did not place any bets at all.

“Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks for winning the Super Bowl,” said Mayweather. “For the record, I did NOT bet $10 million on The Broncos. As a matter of fact, I didn’t bet at alI. I can’t control what rumors are put out there but good or bad publicity keeps me relevant. The only thing I would bet $10 million on is MYSELF because from the looks of my record, I’m a guaranteed WIN!!! I’m focused on that, my company www.themoneyteam.com and my tech investments.”

Last week Sam Watson stated that after the Super Bowl the world would know whom Mayweather will face on May 3rd and that is somewhat true. Mayweather took to Twitter and Instagram to give the fans a vote on his next opponent between Amir Khan and Marcos Maidana.

“I’m going to let the fans vote. Tell me who I should fight next. Khan or Maidana?”
