Frampton’s Star Solidified, Viewership 1.1 Million

Aside from selling out the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Frampton’s five round destruction was shown on terrestrial television in the United Kingdom. The bout that aired on ITV which meant there was no subscription needed to watch did fairly well.

The atmosphere in the arena was electric, and Frampton put on a show stopping his American foe, Chris Avalos in 5 rounds. Avalos needed oxygen after the fight.

Frampton was joined ringside after his fight, with his British rival Scott Quigg. Both hope to make a fight down the road. Should that not happen, Frampton eyes bout with Leo Santa Cruz and even said he would entertain a fight with Rigondeaux for super bantamweight supremacy.
