East L.A. native, Frankie “Pitbull” Gomez will make his ring return this July 6th in California against veteran DeMarcus “Chop Chop” Corely.
Gomez last fought in early February in his first ten round fight of his career winning a unanimous decision over Lanard Lane.
Corely lost a unanimous decision in his last bout against Viktor Postol. His last meaningful victory was in May of 2012 when he scored a TKO victory over Paul McCloskey.
Corley will be looking to throw his name back into the mix for title contention and to shut down an up and coming prospect while Gomez will look to add to his resume and show that he is the present and the future while Corley is finished as a fighter.
