Manny Pacquiao lost a questionable decision and the WBO Welterweight Title to Tim Bradley in June of 2012. Prior to that bout, Pacquiao had won a questionable decision seven months earlier to Juan Manuel Marquez.

Pacquiao seemed determined to redeem himself later that year going to war with Marquez for a fourth. After suffering a vicious sixth round knockout at the hands of Marquez it is a fight that fans will talk about for ages to come, even though some people would like them to forget.

World famous boxing trainer Freddie Roach would love for the world to forget about Manny Pacquiao’s last two fights and move forward to Pacquiao’s upcoming battle with fan friendly slugger Brandon Rios. “The past is the past and you have to leave it there,” said Roach. “Manny is a professional and he is not worried about the past or what is going on around him. He is always focused and aware of what you have to and when you have to do it.”

Although Roach would like people to forget what happened, the devastation caused by the knockout and the shockwaves it sent through the boxing world means Roach will have to just deal with it or ignore it but it will not go away.
