Carl Froch return date of March 28th is soon to be finalized against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. according to The Express in the United Kingdom. Froch’s promoter Eddie Hearn and Chavez’ advisor Al Haymon met a few times while in Las Vegas and the meetings were positive.
Froch has always wanted to fight in a mega fight in the fight capital of the world and according to the report, he will get his wish. Froch expects plenty of fans to make the trip across the pond to rival the Mexican fans that will be there to support the son of a legend.
March 28th is also the return date penciled in for Kell Brook who won his IBF title by defeating Shawn Porter last year. According to the report, Hearn who also promotes Brook would like to show both fights on Sky Sports on the same date.
