_79400423_tfTyson Fury now improves his undefeated record (23-0, 17 KOs) by stopping the overly matched Dereck Chisora (20-5, 13 KOs). The mismatch was evident from the opening bell.

Fury used his height and reach to keep Chisora at a distance, and constantly peppered him with jabs, and combinations from the outside. Chisora tried to close the distance by staying low and constantly moving forward but Fury limited Chisora’s offense by smothering him whenever he got close, popping the jab, or just simply using lateral movement. The smaller sized Chisora had absolutely no answer to Fury’s boxing skills and lost every round of the fight.

Chisora was constantly taking fire and in the 10th round his corner  finally decided to stop the fight to prevent further punishment. Fury has certainly showed he has improved since their last bout in 2011. Despite the first contest being a lopsided UD victory for Fury, he displayed more tools in his arsenal, which is why he was able to stop Chisora the second time around.

Fury has made it clear, he wants an opportunity to face the heavyweight champion in the world Wladimir Klitschko. Whether he has proven his worth to be in the ring against the Ukrainian fighter is debatable, but surely with a few more wins, no one would question that Fury definitely deserves a shot at the kingpin of the division.
