If you have ever seen Gabriel Rosado in the ring then it is nothing strange to see him bleed during a fight. To many it is expected. Cuts have been an issue for Rosado throughout his career which has made some of his fights, especially the bigger ones end early. That should no longer be a problem.
Rosado made the announcement via social media that after his fight with Peter Quillin he went in to get surgery to remove the scar tissue from his face and if all goes well he will be able to resume sparring next month and be back in the ring in the summer.
“For the fans who worry about my left eye I have news for you,” said Rosado. “After my last fight I immediately got surgery to remove all of my scar tissue. My check up went well thank God! I’ll be sparring by April and God willing I’ll be coming back strong sometime this summer.”
