According to the WBC, the purse bid between Danny Garcia and Viktor Postol has been cancelled as an agreement has been reached. Both parties have reached an agreement and the specifics of the details will come out shortly of the deal.
“I am extreme satisfied with the good faith agreement reached by both parties involved which will generate very good opportunities for the fighters, which is the top priority for all of us involved in the great sport,” explained WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman.
There was speculation that this fight would never happen because of the postponements of the purse bid. But it seems for the time being that this fight might be made.
