K2 Promotions.
Set for Saturday, October 18th, “Mexican Style” is headlined by the highly anticipated 12-round world middleweight title fight between Boxing’s fastest rising star, WBA/IBO Middleweight Champion, GENNADY “GGG” GOLOVKIN and WBC Interim Middleweight Champion MARCO ANTONIO “El Veneno” RUBIO.
 
The co-feature bout on October 18th is a featherweight showdown between 2012 Fighter of the Year and four-division world champion NONITO “The Filipino Flash” DONAIRE and undefeated world champion NICHOLAS “The Axe Man” WALTERS who will battle it out to determine the undisputed World Boxing Association (WBA) featherweight world champion. Donaire vs. Walters is presented by Top Rank® and was just officially announced today.
 
“The response to this event has been unprecedented for boxing at the StubHub Center as four weeks to go we’re virtually sold out of tickets,” said Tom Loeffler, Managing Director of K2 Promotions. “Therefore, we’re putting a limited number of Standing Room Only tickets on sale to meet the demand.”
“With the addition of Donaire vs. Walters this card will stand among the very best presented to boxing fans in 2014.”
