According to reports, Sullivan Barrera has backed out of his fight with Artur Beterbiev that was tentatively scheduled for late April in Miami, Florida.
Now Barrera is saying a contract was never sent to him and that it was due to visa issues for Beterbiev as to why the fight actually did not happen.
Beterbiev said on his social media accounts, “Let us be honest – everything gets down to his money for this fight…My promoter (GYM) won with a bid of $251,000. Main Events…bid just over $181,000. A 75-25 split for this bout was in my favor…Such a split is standard during a purse bid.”
