Last Saturday Canelo gave Callum Smith a beating the likes he’s possibly never experienced in his life. After the fight boxing Twitter was abuzz. Several shot praises towards Canelo but there were several detractors and the hate hasn’t stopped yet.
Ishe Smith doesn’t get why Canelo gets so much hate. All of the fights Canelo has had that people thought he would be destroyed he did not (whether you agreed with the outcome or not).
“[I]don’t get all the Nelo hate,” Tweeted Smith. “[I] don’t understand it. Fought GGG 2 times, fought Lara, fought Floyd Mayweather, fought Kovalev, went up several classes to do that, fought Smith, what the fuck do you guys want him to do? Politics and bullshit has kept him from other fights but miss me with the bullshit. Let that man be great.”
