downloadBryant Jennings is one of America’s best Heavyweights. But we haven’t see the Philadelphia fighter in the ring since July and it’s not likely we’ll see him the rest of the year. He is technically the mandatory for the WBC world heavyweight title, but with the Bermane Stiverne-Deontay Wilder fight yet to be official (rumored to be January 17th in Las Vegas), Jennings is still waiting on that big fight.

“It’s not that frustrating,” Jennings told ThaBoxingVoice.com. “I mean that’s if you maintain your patience. I’m in shape and I’m ready right now. I’ll be patiently waiting for now but no there’s no frustration right now”

In the interim Jennings might be in line for a bigger fight with Wladimir Klitschko, possibly happening in the spring of 2015 but Jennings says he’ll be ready no matter who the opponent is.

“If they can come up with something good then of course I’ll fight but then I’m so focused on what I need to be focused on. So do I do it? Is it the right thing to do? Then that also depends on how long I’ll be waiting.”

If not Klitschko or the WBC champion, Jennings was asked if any other opponent would be a let down. Jennings stated, “I’m in the gym and as long as I’m in shape I’ll be ready to fight anyone so a letdown won’t be something I’ll be dealing with. I don’t know. If I did tell you I’d be lying. But there could be bigger things out there.”

That bigger thing could be Klitschko in 2015.
