Welterweight Jessie Vargas was in attendance to watch Adrien Broner’s ninth-round TKO win over Ashley Theophane. Broner called out Floyd Mayweather after the fight, so we asked Vargas for his opinion on the matter. He cut right to the chase.
“Nonsense. This is the sport of boxing, you know what I mean,” he said. “We got to have respect for the sport.”
