Former world champion Jose “Quiebra Jícara” Alfaro (26-8-1, 22 KO’s) from Nicaragua is set to make his in ring return after a year layoff. The last time Alfaro fought was to a draw against southpaw Wiston Campos.
Alfaro was scheduled to fight for a title in Australia July of this year but due to immigration issues was forced to withdraw from the bout.
The fight will take place on October 16th against a Mexican opponent yet to be named. The event will be put on by Nicaragua’s top promoter, Prodesa Promotions.
