After suffering two stoppage losses in a row Juan Carlos Salgado (26-3-1-, 16 KO’s) is looking to make some career changes to help him bounce back and do so in impressionable form and to do that he has signed with strength and conditioning trainer Angel “Memo” Heredia.
Heredia, whom is known for working with the likes of fellow Mexican Juana Manuel Marquez and Haitian-Canadian Jean Pascal took to social media to make the announcement.
“I just signed Juan Carlos Salgado who will be with me now, along with Neto! He will be in top form,” said Heredia.
The change seems to have come at a good time in Salgado’s career which some see as being at a crossroads. In his last bout Salgado lost via TKO in the 11th round to Miguel Roman and lost earlier the same year (2013) via fourth round KO to Argenis Mendez whom he also holds a victory over. Title contention and champion is where every fighter wants to be at and with Herrera there he may be back in the mix sooner than later.
