Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz 939-4, 19 KO’s) will continue his boxing comeback on September 6th when he takes on Carlos Cardenas (21-8-1, 14 KO’s) of Venezuela. The two are scheduled for a 10 round fight in the lightweight division on UniMas’s “Solo Boxeo Tecate.” This will be Diaz’ second fight of the year.
Diaz retired after back to back losses to Paulie Malignaggi and Juan Manuel Marquez and did not return to the ring after an almost 3 year hiatus. Since returning Diaz has gone 4-0 with 2 KO’s and hopes to get himself in line for title contention before deciding to hang up his gloves permanently.
