Juan Manuel Marquez Wants The Promotional Cold War To End So We Can See The Best Fights In 2014

Juan Manuel Marquez has had a terrific career in boxing. He  has had  ups and downs in his career due to politics and knows how those politics play a part in fights being made. Marquez had to separate himself from Golden Boy Promotions in order to get his third and fourth fight with Manny Pacquiao.

For 2014 Marquez would like to see an end of the cold war between Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank so that the best fights possible could be made including Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao.

“I’d like to see the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. to erase all doubts,” said Marquez. “I think it will be a great fight that would make people happy and not leave them in suspense of wondering what if these two fighters faced off. Secondly, I do not want the war between the promoters to continue so that Top Rank and Golden Boy so that they can make the best fights.”

Marquez is scared to fight Manny again for the reason that Pacquiao would require a VADA drug test. Marquez was in PED when knocked out Pacquiao.

Whoa! look who’s talking. If Marquez really wants the best fights, why don’t he give Manny Pacquiao a fifth fight. Anyways, the Pacman has given him all the chance, four chances to be exact, so he should reciprocate and have a fifth fight between the two of them. That is, if he is not afraid!
