On March 1st Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will look to redeem himself and clear doubts from boxing fans minds when he faces off against Brian Vera in the rematch from their first controversial fight.
“I’m facing Vera again for the people because there was the controversy from the first fight,” said Chavez. “I respect the people and I respect Vera and I really believe he deserves the opportunity for the second fight.”
Chavez is taking the fight very serious and has been in tremendous shape which he wasn’t in the last time they fought. Chavez is looking to win because this, for him, is a critical point in his career.
“Every time you step in the ring you go in there to win. This fight is no different. This is an important point in my career.”
