After an almost ten year retirement Hall of Fame Fighter and Mexican legend Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. will attempt to make his in ring return in a three round exhibition match.
“The idea is to do a three round exhibition,” said Chavez Sr. “Honestly, it has been almost ten years since I have gotten in the ring. The only problem I have is I had an operation on my nose and it was a delicate operation and they have prohibited me from receiving any punches [to the nose] but I will see if I will be able to with a special headgear.”
Chavez last fought as a professional back in 2005 losing to Grover Wiley.
