Greg Cohen of Greg Cohen Promotions, promoter of red-hot WBA #9 heavyweight Travis “My Time” Kauffman, has received a letter of approval and Kauffman’s showdown this Saturday, January 25, against “Vicious” Vincent Thompson will be for the WBA Fedelatin Championship.

Reading, Pennsylvania’s Kauffman (27-1, 20 KOs) and Federal Way, Washington’s Thompson (13-1, 2 KOs) will meet in the 10-round main event of a King’s Promotions professional boxing event at the Sands Bethlehem in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Tickets for Championship Boxing at the Sands Bethlehem are priced at $50, $75, $125, and $200 in advance ($5 more at the door) and are available through The Sands box office and all Ticketmaster locations.

“I am happy the WBA has chosen to recognize this fight as being of championship caliber, as both guys have excellent records and are deserving of this opportunity” said Greg Cohen. “Travis has slowly built momentum during his comeback and is now running full steam into important tests such as this. These are the kinds of fights that will get him ready for his eventual world championship challenge.”
