box_g_klitschko_b2_300x200Tyson Fury sang after his victory Saturday night in England. At the end of the song, he called out the Heavyweight Champion of the world Wladimir Klitschko. Klitschko has a bout lined up with Bryant Jennings next month in New York, but many are clamoring for a fight between the two big men in the division. So much, so that HBO Sports’ Ken Hershman flew over to England to be ringside at Fury’s fight.

Klitschko has a three-fight deal with HBO. The first was his victory over Kubrat Pulev; the second will be his upcoming bout with Jennings. The third would most likely be a battle with Fury because a clash with the other titleholder in the division Deontay Wilder may be unlikely on HBO.

Team Klitschko heard the call out and are open ears to the fight. Bernd Bonte, the CEO of Klitschko Management Group, said the fight is an option but feels Fury is nothing special.

“Fury did not impress me against a second or third level opponent,” Bonte told RingTV.com. “First Wladimir has to win the fight versus Jennings in New York, and then that fight is a possibility. But all these thoughts are premature because Wladimir knows Jennings is a tough opponent, and he can’t underestimate him.”
