Boxing is back! “Premier Boxing Champions” on Spike showcases the world’s greatest practitioners of the sweet science. Before the fireworks explode in the ring, viewers will get an exclusive inside-look at the fighters as they prepare for battle in the one-hour special, “Lights Out,” premiering Friday, March 6 at 9:00pm ET/PT.

“Lights Out” will span the globe to give viewers a compelling behind-the-scenes view of each action-packed event. In this premier episode, “Lights Out” travels to Andre Berto’s training camp in Union City, CA as he prepares for one of the biggest fights in his career. The special also showcases Berto’s humanitarian side, as he takes a trip to help those in his native Haiti. Berto’s opponent, the hard-hitting Josesito Lopez, is also featured, as viewers get a glimpse of his rugged and grueling training regimen in snowy Big Bear Lake. “Lights Out” will also air footage of his incredible upset victory over Victor Ortiz.

“Lights Out” then heads to Sin City as rising superstar Shawn Porter trains in the Las Vegas heat with a rigorous training program inside the ring and on the track. The show provides a glimpse of his close relationship with father and trainer, Kenny. “Lights Out” then chronicles Roberto Garcia’s incredible rise from tragedy and personal hardship to the precipice of boxing stardom.
