Lucian Bute is just a week away from one of the biggest fights of his career when he takes on Jean Pascal on January 18th in Montreal and preparation has been going well for Bute and is well on track for making weight.
This morning GYM Promotions revealed that Bute has weighed in at 180.4 pounds. With just six days left it should be a breeze for the Romanian born fighter to shed off just over five pounds.
Bute last fought in November of 2013 after a year and a half layoff for the NABF and won a unanimous decision over Denis Grachevafter. He had a year and a half layoff before the bout after suffering the first defeat of his career against Carl Froch in 2012.
