“My wounds are healing but it was a big win either way, “Scott told ESNews.com.

The heavyweight division is bringing some marquee matchups in 2015 and the most intriguing fight is the one between Deontay Wilder and Bermane Stiverne. Scott was in the ring with Wilder and lost by KO and knows Bermane Stiverne so it was interesting to get his take on the fight.

“It’s a good fight,” stated Scott. “I think Stiverne is a little underrated as far as his skill set. I like the fight. I got the fight 70-30 for Wilder.”

Scott believes the height and power will just be too much for the reigning WBC world heavyweight champion even if Stiverne was the skill set to pull of the upset.

“Reason I say that is because I know Stiverne and his trainer and they have been working but Stiverne doesn’t deal with rangy guys good enough for me to think he’s going to beat Deontay; someone who’s 6-7 who fights tall. He’s got the right hand equalizer. Unfortunately that’s going to be too much for Stiverne.”
