Celebrities Attend The New Orleans Pelicans Vs New York Knicks Game - December 1, 2013Floyd Mayweather was promoter and fighter Friday night in San Antonio as he was promoting the Erislandy Lara-Ishe Smith. His fighters, Chris Pearson and Badou Jack walked away with victories and he was pleased with their performances.

“I gave Chris Pearson an A, he got the job done. Badou Jack, I’m proud of Badou mixing in his right hands in with his lefts,” Mayweather told Showtime analyst Steve Farhood.

The attention then turned to Manny Pacquiao and Mayweather made it clear, he wants the fight with Pacquiao May 2nd.

“Absolutely, I would love to fight Manny Pacquiao,” stated Mayweather. “We had problems with blood and urine testing. He’s in a very, very tight situation with his loss to Marquez and his loss to Bradley. His pay-per-view numbers are extremely low, so he’s desperate. We have to make the fight on Showtime pay-per-view, the best in the business.”

Mayweather continued with his jab as he stated the other side is stopping the fight.

“Bob Arum is stopping the fight. We have been trying to make the fight but the fans have been listening to one side. Let’s make it happen, Mayweather-Pacquiao May 2nd,” explained Mayweather.

Mayweather says he wants the fight for the fans and to go out on a big high.

“It’s a little bit of everything,” stated Mayweather. “He’s not on my level. I want to go out on a high. Manny Pacquiao, Bob Arum you guys have been duckin’ us for years. You dodged random urine and drug testing. Then I offered you forty million dollars, you lost twice and you want the same money. Let’s make the fight happen, May 2nd, Mayweather-Pacquiao, Cinco de Mayweather.”
