The world was excited when Mayweather-Pacquiao was announced by Floyd Mayweather on his Shots application. Everyone involved in the negotiations was excited and relieved the fight could be made. In an interview ABS-CBN, Manny Pacquiao shared in the sentiment
“I’m happy,” stated Pacquiao. “The fight is on, let’s get it on.”
When asked about the length of time it took for making the fight happen from its inception and 2009 and whose fault it was for taking so long to making it happen, Pacquiao chose the high road.
“I have no comment on that but the fight is on. I have nothing to say. I’m just focused for the fight,” stated Pacquiao.
Pacquiao says the fight needed to happen, and he’s happy because the fans are happy
“I’m excited because the fans are excited,” stated Pacquiao. “Of course he’s a good fighter and I’m a good fighter and we’ll see what happens in the ring.”
