Floyd_Mayweather_SrIt seems like we are closing in on the finish line for Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, and all indications point to an announcement very soon. Even in the Mayweather Gym, the optimism is at an all-time high as Floyd Mayweather Sr. spoke to HustleBoss.com

“It don’t make no difference,” Mayweather Sr. stated. “ I think the fight going to take place. Otherwise, I don’t think my son and Pacquiao would have took it this far, trading numbers with each other, you call me I call you. To me honestly that looks like a fight to me. There’s always a way.”

Not that we’ve been this close for the fight but as all things in boxing, it can all come crumbling down. Mayweather Sr. agrees that at this point the fight breaking down would be a huge disappointment.

“It’d be very disappointing,” Mayweather Sr. said. “ It wouldn’t be nothing smooth tell you that if something like that don’t take place. This fight right now is the biggest thing in this world. It’s the biggest day on the planet.”

Mayweather Sr. feels the outcome will be easy for his son, even to the point where he doesn’t even want to talk about it anymore.

“It’s going to be the same. Only reason I could tell you because people know that answer already. There’s no reason for me to say anything right now,” Mayweather Sr. said regarding the outcome of the fight.
