There’s so many factors that can stop a fight from happening and it seems like women have so much more to deal with than the men. They have all the same problems as the men and have to worry about getting pregnant on top of that. That’s exactly what happened to Argentina’s Nazerena Romero
Romero won the WBA Interim Super Bantamweight Title last December with a TKO over Julieta Cardozo and was set to defend her title against Laura Griffa. Griffa last fought at the end of 2019 and suffered a loss to Romero. She had lost her last two bouts prior to fighting Romero.
This will be Romero’s second child. Her first is an eleven year old girl. Romero is currently 3 months pregnant with her partner boxer Agustin Vergara who is currently preparing for his pro debut.
